Need help with displaying image galleries on separate pages on my word press site

    Hello!

I am new to the forum. I am a disabled Marine Corps veteran/ football coach/ scout/ entrepreneur all rolled into one. I founded and started my own business 3 years ago, a sports scouting service. I have gone through a journey of trying to establish a custom, well put together website to fit what I wanted to do business wise. I have a little website design experience but from years ago in the Corps when I helped build the first intranet website at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. My background away from coaching is in Personnel Administration and Human Resources with cross training as an Information Systems Coordinator (PC Technician). About 6 months ago, I moved our website to the Word Press platform under Site Ground hosting. I have successfully self educated myself via YouTube videos and a Word Press For Beginners Book and have been able to build a fairly decent website that is pretty well laid out and organized. It is not the quality of most of the trained website designers but so far it is able to do the job.

The issue I am having is, when we get an athlete signed to a professional sports team or college team, our Graphics Art partner does a custom graphic for us to use with our Signed Announcements on social media. I am trying to figure out how to display these images in a gallery on separate pages for each sport and level. I have a Parent Page labeled "Signed Athletes" on my navigation menu and under that 2 Child Pages labeled "College Signings" and "Pro Signings". I created a Mega Menu because under the 2 Child Pages, I want to create Categories, I think is what it's called under the Child Pages for each sport we work with for example:

    College Signings
    Football
    Baseball
    Basketball
    Softball
    Volleyball
    Soccer
    Tennis

I want to be able to display the image gallery for clients signed to a college team for that sport and have it show up under the right Child Page and Category. The other thing I am not understanding is, if I have the same sports under Pro Signings, how can I display the appropriate galleries for say Football and not have the College Signings - Football gallery show up. I think I understand Mega Menus but I am not understanding how to make sure the right content shows up on the right category page under the correct Child Page. I have been Googling, watching videos, etc. Could someone with way more web design experience, help me figure this out? I am using Elementor (FREE) and the OceanWP Theme.

This is sort of hard to answer because I can't really envision the pages.
And are the galleries just photos, or are they all mixed with text and other stuff?

The other issue is terminology ... There are Categories, Pages and Posts.

You've uploaded all of the images into the media library. Now are you putting galleries on pages? or is each entry for each person a post, and is there only one image for each person? If each person had their own post, those can be assigned to any page or category. But the term "gallery" is abstract ... what do you consider a gallery?

All of these things are sort of hazy to me as I can't really see it in action.

You can private message me with a link to the site so I can see it (then this discussion won't be public).
