Best platform to build a Members only website?

    Hi All,

I am looking for the easiest way to build a very simple website with a couple of key requirements and would like to know if it's possible and what would be the best/easiest platform to achieve it:

    1) The whole website is a members only site and only accessible to members once they have logged in. Ideally visitors land on a page which only has a logo and member login box. They cannot view main menu and pages until they have logged in. I would also like the members to only be able to login with facebook, not with email.

    2) After they have created a login with facebook, we have to approve them before they can access the site.

Are these requirements possible? Could this be done on wordpress or even wix? The content itself will be very simple. A few pages with a some images, text, and a survey form, so we'd like to keep it to the simplest platform that can achieve the above requirements.

    Thanks
    Jake

You didn't mention how much scripting (PHP) experience you have.
Also, do you have an existing webhost account, example: GoDaddy

I would probably use an existing PHP script, which you would purchase (one time cost) for about $20-$50.
Most of these are based on CodeIgniter. If you go this route, make sure the script supports PHP7+ and the author has updated it recently. Don't buy an old script.

Then it would have to be customized to only allow FaceBook login.

All of this takes some PHP scripting experience.

The alternative would be to find an online PHP example or tutorial on doing a social login (FaceBook) example. This would really require some scripting experience.

Here's a place to start looking:
    https://codecanyon.net/item/cyberbuk...ement/28092179

These are "front-end" scripts. They will have an example of how to "protect" any other pages or scripts by checking for a valid login.

WIX or any other free webhost won't allow any PHP scripting.
WordPress is way too much for something like this. Too bloated.
