    Question What's the big tomato?

I'm looking at cross-browser compatibility and stuff. I'm wondering, it should be pretty simple, right? Just hierarchical. I'm wondering, whats the main condition, or 'big tomato', of it all?

I realize you said 'browser' and not 'device', but browsers are already fairly compatible. At least the newest browsers.

Is there, for instance, any libraries that solve all cross-browser problems? I'm approaching this from a programming standpoint, where it doesn't make sense to do the same thing twice.
