Hello All. . .Please HELP this newbie

Hello. I set up a Wix website for my daughters business. Couldn't get the email to work no matter what I did. I then decided to try builderra and built an even better site however even after entering the DNS info on Wix the other site Builderra still saying the domain is being used by another website. What do I do? I truly enjoyed building the site but I'm stuck. Any help will help. Thx in advance.

    I assume you started here:

And then when you went to Builderra to deal with the domain name you had trouble?

    Referring to this again,

Did you look at the "before you begin" section ... then ask Builderra how to deal with it?

On the webhost I use, I have to enter the domain name that is hosted on another domain host and mark it as "parked".
They need to know what the domain name is, but they are not hosting it. I'm not sure what Builderra requires.

Instead of keeping the domain on WIX and pointing to Builderra, you can transfer it away from WIX and lose the WIX account ...

If you are no longer going to use WIX at all, I would transfer the domain name by using their method:

Notice that this is one of the ICANN rules:

    • You cannot transfer a domain within 60 days of purchase.

They (WIX) will give you a transfer code that you will use on the Builderra site to move the domain name to Builderra and host it there instead.

You should use the Builderra "what's your question" online help chat ... ask them how to move your domain name to them after you get the transfer code from WIX.
