Hi just wanted to know the advantages, disadvantages with Css stylesheets in DW MX 2004. When linking or importing a stylesheet to a page, is it when its linked that all you have to do is change the stylesheet and all the pages that are linked to the specific css will automatically change? If this is so why would you want to import any styles?

link is used by browsers that have almost no CSS spport, while import is not. So you can hide your CSS from bad browsers by using the import and just display unstyled content.

And I assume by import you mean @import "styles.css"

Another advantage to @import is you can import style sheets into other style sheets. Almost all sites I create link to a single style sheet using the Link tag. But that file is used only as a container to import other style sheets. (this also helps to block old browsers as brak stated)

I will break up my style sheets into verious others such as one that specifically deals with layout, another with link styles, etc.. This ensures that If I want to change certin aspects I dont have to 'fish' through a huge file, and I can experiment much easier.
