    hi,
    I know I did this somewhere on one of my sites but can't find out which and I dont remember how.
    What I need is a border around just the table outside (I don't need a border between rows/columns.
    How can I do this?

    Use CSS like so:
    Code:
    .border {
    	border: thin solid #FF0000;
    and the HTML would be:
    Code:
    <table width="600" border="0" class="border">

    Alternatively you could just not use classes. And for the table cell, type:

    Code:
    style="border 1px solid #000000"
    spluf's way is easier but this is just another way of doing things.
