Right ok, I have just designed a new site and have a main container div, with two divs inside (right and left, 25% width and 75% width).

The container div has a background image that mimicked the right hand divs border and background colour. now. the right hand div is floating to the right, and the background image is only displaying to the end of the text on the left - this defeats the whole object of my having a bg image instead of the real thing.

    can anybody help me?
