What sites are great for complete newbies of HTML?

Now, it's not me that's a newbie, it's alot of friends of mine. They have no idea what the hell CGI, ASP, PHP is, and they have no idea what domains and hosting are either. Please give me sites that can help 'em out quickly. Hopefully I can train them to become HTML slaves and work for me for minimum wage...

They can always ask here. Because it's such a diverse topic though it's hard to point them somewhere without a more specific goal (i.e., learning HTML, PHP, Photoshop, etc.).

A nice site devoted to HTML help is http://www.lissaexplains.com

Even though it's geared at kids, lots of grown ups use it too because she makes HTML so easy to learn!!!

It's scary how a site done by a 16-year-old is more professional than most adult sites.

Another one you might like is http://www.w3schools.com (they're done by the W3 consortium.)
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
