I've been working on a new concept to help webmasters gain inbound links to their websites for free, and for the most part I've got the site looking the way I want it.

However, the left side menu is throwing me for a loop:

    http://www.seostoryblast.com

No matter what, the purple part seems to stay the exact height that it is instead of scrolling down to the bottom of the page (which is the behaviour I want). How do I fix this? Thanks.

Well... I'm not sure exactly how you have this whole thing laid out... it was confusing to look at.

Looks like you'll have to float the footer to the right/left with a margin-left the size of the sidebar (or a little bigger due to IE's farked box model)

BTW... I find it funny you call your directory CSSSheets... Cascading Sytle Sheets Sheets

Old habit. I find it easier to understand it that way.

And I'm not exactly sure what you mean: do you mean <div style="float: right/left"> ?

And even so, the problem exists on longer pages. That left side stays the same no matter what. Look at the stories to see what I mean.

Gotcha, you're going to need to use faux columns for this. Look it up on www.alistapart.com basically, you make it "look" like there are two columns...

Okay, that article on A List Apart didn't help (since they usually don't for me) but for a change, led to an indirect train of thought that did produce the final answer. So that's fine with me as long as it works.

But now it's led to the discovery of a whole new pair of problem for Firefox only.

    http://www.seostoryblast.com/stories/Life's_True_ROI

Problem 1: neither the background colour nor the background image appears on the rollover for the left side links in Firefox (I set both properties for the hell of it and neither worked.)

Problem 2: the Author Bio box on the bottom is getting cut into by the paging link on the bottom.

    Any ideas on either?

Keep in mind that IE 6 renders them exactly as I've intended.
