    I am trying to make a table that fills 100% of the screen both horizontally and vertically. I make the table in dreamweaver, click it and set both properties to 100%. When I preview in browser, at the bottom and right of the page, there is a margin of about 7 - 10 px. I have set all margins to 0 in the page properties and everything so what is the problem?

    Here is the code for my table:

    <table width="100%" height="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
    <tr>
    <td valign="top">&nbsp; </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    Obviously, at the minute, there is nothing in it but there will be.

    Hope you can help me, thanks in advance, will7.

    You talk about margins, have you set the paddings to zero? Do it for both HTML and BODY.

    HTML{margin:0px; padding:0px;}
    BODY{margin:0px; padding:0px;}

    Post how it goes please - I'm quite interested...

    OK, it seems not to be working now. Don't know why, but once I set a background image for the table it messes up and has them margins again.

    EDIT: Never mind. I sorted it. For some reason, the <BODY> tag was only setting the left and top margins to 0 so I had to set the left and bottom ones and it worked.
