    hi,
    I created a page in html and I made a table cell for my login and password boxes to go into, but I didn't make it tall enough so when I put them in it stretches the cell out and throws everything off. I've heard that in CSS you can change the height of login and password boxes. This is what I would like to put in the cell: login box that is not as tall as default and a password box that is not as tall as default. next to those I want a login button that is not as tall as the default, and next to that a sign up button that is not as tall as the default. all of that on one line... I have no idea how to do this though. I'm brand new to Css. can anyone help me?

    Thanks, Matt

    if you're new to CSS, I recommend you to put the CSS inline:
    <input style="height:15px;" />
    Just paste the style="..." inside the input tag to make them 15px tall, and edit it to your needs.

    Thanks! now I have one more question. is there a way to change the size of the text on the login button? It cut the bottom half of the text off when I made the button small...

    Thanks, Matt

    Code:
    <input style="height: 15px; font-size: 13px;" />
    There is some debate about using a pixel amounts for font sizes, so look into "em" and the other methods of doing it if that's a big deal for you.
