    I need to make a transparent background image for my webpage and I don't know what's going on. I'm new to HTML and where the site lets you edit your webpage it dosent have a place to where you can just put in the link of the image and it'll do it for you. I think this might be the HTML for it but i'm not for sure...

    <style type="text/css">
    body{background-image:url(http://www.murderdolls.us/Extras/Faces1024x768.gif);
    background-attachment:fixed;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position:center center;
    background-color:000020;}
    table, td, textarea, a, body, input{background-color:transparent;border:none;border-width:0}>
    </style>

    and if it is how can i put it in to where it'll show up? the link to the page is here

    and heres the link to the picture i want to use http://www.murderdolls.us/Extras/Faces1024x768.gif

    That image is pretty big (455K) ... it does take a while to download.

    When you display images on your site, you should have a copy of the
    image in your OWN webspace ... don't use an indirect link to the image
    from someone else's site.

    I can't figure out what kind of service you are using. Is it one of
    those "free" website deals where you use a template to create your site?
    If so, you might have your hands tied with limitations.

    For $100 per year, you can have your own site, with your own domain name,
    and no ads ... and the freedom to do pretty much anything you want. You might consider doing that so you can have control yourself.

    Nevermind, I figured it out for myself.

    It's here if anyone wants to look at it.
