    I hope you might be able to help,

    We have successfully managed to create a html template which contains its own graphics and also links to an external style sheet. This displays and works correctly if we link to the style sheet and template somewhere on our local machines. However, we need these two things to work when we host them from a shared drive which can be accessed from across the university.

    When we try to create a new html file from the template and when we link to the template graphics and css file on the external drive, dreamweaver itself does not show the graphics that should be displaying from the template (and now hosted on a shared drive across the uni) , nor does it apply the styling from the style sheet UNTIL we hit F12 to view it in IE6 - then everything displays correctly.

    Is there a way we can get dreamweaver to display these graphics and styling from within the dreamweaver interface and not just in internet explorer? We were wondering if it may be a site definition problem, or maybe something to do with viewing 'live data'?

    Thanks for your time,
    Mark Hughes

    I am sorta making a left field guess, but if you do not have a webserver on the shared drive and the link you are making to your style sheet is something like
    HTML Code:
    <link href="G:\folder\file.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
    Try changing the href attribute of the link tag to this format..
    HTML Code:
    <link href="file:///G|/folder/file.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
    note file:///G| instead of G:\ change.
