    Hi there guys,

    I'm currently trying to learn how to put together a shopping cart on a website for selling products. What would be the best method I could try in this respect? I've tried all week searching for tutorials on this type of thing but to non avail.

    I'd appreciate it very much someone could help me in this area

    you would need a host that supports php and mysql, you could buy a book on them to learn how to put together a shopping cart.

    You could also do something like rent a virtual storefront from Yahoo! and other services. Of course running your own would be the most professional.

    Covenander: your best bet would be to find a merchant account provider/payment processor, then a host that used at least one of the languages the payment processor's software is compatible with. When you've got both of those, then set up a relational database and develop the site.
