I have a table with only two columns. The left column needs to be a set pixel width (100) so that the text in it can be read properly. Right now the td width is set to 100.

The problem I'm having is that when a user shrinks the frame in which he is viewing the website (or in certain cases, is using a screen set in a different resolution), then the left column gets smaller and the text starts to wrap. The right column doesn't do this; it stays the same width, and the user must scroll to see the entire page. I want this to happen for the entire website.

Any suggestions would be greatly, greatly appreciated...

hmm.. you could try putting a 1 x 100 px transparent image in the cell to keep it stretched to 100 pixels.
