I'm looking for a free, online, non-technical tutorial on the latest html and CSS versions in use. I already was burned by one html tutorial that was so old my page had so many errors it couldn't finish an online validation check. There's a lot of tutorials out there and I'm not sure which is the latest. W3C's is probably up-to-date but it's a little over my head. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

http://www.lissaexplains.com is great if you're a minor. There really aren't many up-to-date tutorials for adults but http://www.webmonkey.com generally is current, and you can usually get advice on stuff here as well.
