    Sorry guys if this is in the wrong section I am stuck!

    I have some web space I purchased with a domain name. In the space I have some other folders I have for personal stuff, with a separate domain linking to these folders.

    eg. www.mainspace.com

    separate domain - www.separate.com links to www.mainspace.com/separate

    Problem is when i type the name of my main space domain, it brings up hits from my separate folders.

    The links of the pages in the separate sites, are in the form of www.mainspace/separate/home.htm etc

    How can I stop google from displaying these non related pages?

    Sorry if this doesnt make too much sense but I am pretty new at this stuff!

    Hey,
    So basically, you are saying that there are pages in your site that you DON'T want indexed by the search engine, right? Well, there is a meta tag for that you can use. It is this:
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">

    I don't know how long it takes for it to be removed. I know that for a page to actually show up in Google it usually takes a few months for me, so maybe it takes about the same amount of time for a page to be removed...
