    I have a problem with my homepage. Unfortunately the cursor hand doesn't show when pointing at links. I just put it on the web, and a lot of my friends "trying it out" find it annoying. I use Dreamweaver, and when trying to fix the problem (using CSS styles) the hand started to appear all the time! Very annoying! I use "hotspots" and link to "popup windows" with unchangeable size. Would be happy if anyone could help me! Thank you.

    You say you've tried the following?

    Code:
    <style type="text/css" media="screen">
    html, body {

    cursor: default;

    }

    a {

    cursor: pointer, hand;

    }
    </style>
    ...certainly posting a link to the site would be a great help.

    Your problem is that you probably put the CSS on the body element so it's staying constant throughout the page. Use the above code which just does links.

    yeah, post your cursor.css - and are you sure you have uploaded it to the correct folder? when i go to your homepage, the path for the stylesheet that you have it linked to just says "cursor.css" - no folders or anything. so, in the address bar i tried adding "cursor.css" to the address, but it did not find the page. so, are you sure you have it uploaded?

    yeah, I tried that too. I think you didn't upload cursor.css or you uploaded it to the wrond folder.

    Ahhh! Thanks. The cursor.css was not there. Now I put it in the folder! And now the hand is there, but all the time... I tried to put in the above suggested codes, but since i don't know html i'm sure i put it in the wrong place, cause it did'nt work.
