    I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this... but here goes:

    If you look at www.cagedape.com/index2.shtml, you'll notice thats the links box expands with the news box. I'd like the lniks box to stay at a site length, while the news box can expand freely. If anyone knows how to do this please AIM me.

    If you mean stay at a set length, then you need to take the row that contains the links and the news and turn it into two rows. Then you make the news two rows high.

    You won't do it with this exact code, but this is the general idea. Turn this:

    <tr>
    <td>links</td>
    <td>news</td>
    </tr>

    into this:

    <tr>
    <td style="height:200px">links</td>
    <td rowspan="2">news</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td></td>
    </tr>

    I'm kind of surprised, because most people want to do the opposite of what you seem to want to do. Aesthetically you might be better off the way it is. Maybe somebody here has a design degree and can say why or why not.

    Well if the news section gets too long, the links box will be just as long, making it not look good. But thanks for your help!
