    I'm using dreamweaver MX and I'm designing a website and theres a graphic I would like on the left of my page. As a background image for my menu, but if I put it on background image it repeats. So I browsed through the help and learnt about CSS and I've got a css style sheet going, but the thing is that it only shows like the top of the graphic and if I select center in the position thingy it shows the middle bit.

    How do i get it to show all the image?

    Can you post the code you've been using, your description still remains a little vague.

    You can do like this:
    Code:
    background-position:left top;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-attachment: fixed;
    background-image: url(/YHAbackgroundpage.JPG);
    background-position:left top;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-color: #000000;

    }

    If you are trying to apply the background to the table cell, make sure that that cell has a right HEIGHT.
    And get rid of "background-attachment: fixed;".

    I'm not certain if this makes a difference, but try switching the position so it's phrased background-position: top left; you can also try applying the width: value; height: value; inside the class of the actual image.

    what seems to be happening is it only applies to CSS sheet to the line that I'm on.

    How do I stop this?
