Is it possible to stretch an image vertically in all browsers using HTML? So far I have only gotten positive results with Firefox, but in no other browser does it work. I have the image in a 100% height <td>, and the image itself is set to 100% height also, but only in Firefox do I get what I want. If needed I can post a link to the site in question, but I would need to upload some stuff...

I know I can make the image larger than the needed area, but I would rather not do that until need be. That may cause more problems in the future if the height of the cell grows too large.

    Thanks for any help

Nevermind, I've figured it out. Why I hadn't thought to make the stretchy image as a repeating background image to the <td> is beyond me.
