I am very excited. It looks sweet. I know im four years too late

Question = For the doctype, it says use strict for browsers that support CSS, and use transitional for browsers that dont support CSS.

If I use strict, wont Ibe limiting my users?

You won't... I would advise using transitional, as it's more flexible. It has nothing to do with support for CSS... more the fact that you absolutely must use CSS to style elements and can't rely on things like border="0" in strict, while you can with transitional. But at this point, browsers that "dont' support CSS" are non-existent (or less than 1% of browsing population)
