    I am trying to place a small box on a home page that dynamical pulls information from file everytime it is loaded. What language is the best way to produce this. Thanks for the help.

    I assume you have a file that's going to be changed or edited, and you want to include it inside the home page without having the change the home page?

    The best method is debatable. There's a bunch of ways to do it though. Probably the easiest is SSI, which most hosts seem to support. PHP isn't bad either, if your host supports it. I'd avoid the javascript method, since I don't expect it would work with the 4 to 13% who (allegedly) have javascript disabled.

    Google up SSI for some tutorials. SSI stands for server side includes. Typically you just rename your html file extension to .shtml to enable it if your server/host is set up for it.
