    Hi. I am coding a template that is a clone of Blogger.com and am having problems getting the background to stretch when the page needs to be vertically scrolled (typically for users in 800x600).

    The url is http://www.peerlessperfection.com/bi...ond_level.html and the css file is http://www.peerlessperfection.com/bi.../secondary.css

    Can anyone help me? It would be much appreciated and I will give you 20 TD.

    Thanks!

    Karinne try increasing the text size so it expands further down the page than your normal viewable area and you will see what he means.

    Have you tried removing... height: 100%; from inbetween html, body in your CSS file?

    Trico, removing the 100% height from body and html makes the background image disappear completely.

    Thanks for the views on the increased font sizes.. I will fix those.

    Can you clarify what your problem is?

    Do you want the white box to expand with more content, or is it that the green background doesn't repeat once the text over-flows?

    Essentialy this is all the code I use to create the repeating effect, it continues to repeat if more content is added or the text is resized.

    Code:
    html, body {

    	background: #3E2600 url('images/repeater.gif') repeat-y 50%;

    }
