    hello,

    i am having problems getting the two nav bars (yellow and blue) to touch each other and be placed on the top of the screen. i want the navbars to stay in fixed table (no frame, please).

    i cannot figure out why space is happening there.

    i would like to use as much css as possible for more control. htm is fine if it is the only way to make it work.

    thanks!
    carrie

    I can get it pretty damn close, but not touching:
    make the following modification to the styles:
    #secbar ul and #navbar ul

    insert the style: margin: 0px;

    after making that modification they're about 4 px apart.

    can't think of anything else just yet.

    It's your table. Modify your HTML from

    <table width="800">

    to

    <table width="800" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">

    That gets them to touch, even without the modification mentioned above...
