    Hi all,

As i use pure CSS for layout and presentation nowadays for my websites, I was thinking of including on some of my sites a style guide.

Now, what exactly would a style guide consist of? Is it only a (text) document telling the reader what colours you've used, how to format tags and attributes, how you have laid out the site through CSS, that sort of thing?

Does anyone use a style guide and can anyone point me to an example of a style guide?

    Thanks for your input. Cheers!

I'm not quite sure I know what a style guide is, or more importantly, what purpose it serves. Please clarify.

I think that's what he wants us to do actually. But as I don't know what exactly a style guide is, at least in terms of web design.....

This a style guide in progress:

Ideally, you would identify all classes/tags that make up each stylistic element.

So what makes a style guide different from your styles.css? Layman's terms?
