    i am using microsoft frontpage and i want to have a box that comes when you hover over the links. like when you hover the mouse pointer over the icons here for posting, it gives a brief description of what the link is. somebody told me it was called an attribute but i dont know how to do this on frontpage.

    is there any free software that can do this???

    thanks

    You're most likely thinking of the 'Alt' attribute.

    Code:
    <img src="icon.gif" alt="Your text description" />
    Code:
    <a href="#" title="Your text description">link</a>
