    Hi guys, I am learning CSS in school, and it seems pretty easy.. EXCEPT, I can not get 2 of my pics to position on this start up project. The H and the H7 just go to the top left hand corner and will not move. Ignore the content, I am just playing around:

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Darian's CSS Page!</title>

    </head>

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--body {background: #000000; }
    h1 { font: bold 40px arial;
    position: absolute; top: 60px; left: 25px; color:blue; }

    a { position: absolute; top: 300px; left: 300px; }

    h3 {font: italic 150px verdana, sans-serif;
    position: absolute; top: 50; left: 50; color: red; }

    h2 { position: absolute; top: 600px; left: 700px; }

    h4 { font: bold 75px arial;
    position: absolute; top: 175px; left: 300px; color:white; }

    h5 { position: absolute; top: 300px; left: 600px; }

    h6 { position: absolute; top: 420px; left: 100px; }

    h7 { position: absolute; top: 700px; left: 300px; }

    h { position: absolute; top: 600px; left: 150px; }

    .content { position: absolute; top: 300px; left: 100px; color:yellow;
    font: 24px/20px tahoma; }

    -->
    </style>

    <body>
    <a><img src="spidey.gif"></a>
    <h3>Spider-Man</h3>
    <h><img src="spidey3.jpg"></h>
    <h1>Everything I know about life...</h1>
    <h5><img src="spidey1.jpg"></h5>
    <h2><img src="spidey2.jpg"></h2>
    <h4>has taught me!</h4>
    <h6><img src="spidey4.jpg"></h6>
    <h7><img src="spidey5.jpg"></h7>
    <div class=content>
    <b>With great power...</b><br>
    <br>comes great responsibility<br>
    </div>

    </body>

    </html>

    well... first of all there is no such thing as an <h> and <h7> tag - see the list of elements

    second, you should be using thos header tags for what they really are... headings - titles and stuff.

    to position your image, use id's or classes instead
