Try this: whenever you get the error saying the page cannot load, right click on the page itself, and go to properties. This will give you the location that it tried to load. If there's anything that involves a directory of your computer (for example: c:\blahblah) on the link of index.html then it will not work because the server wont recognize the "c:\"; The links on index.html should be in respects to a the root folder.

If i'm linking to a page called "aboutus.html" that is in the same folder as index.html; then the SRC of the link should only be "aboutus.html".

If i'm linking to a page called "aboutus.html that is in a subfolder called "info"; then the SRC of the link should be "info/aboutus.html".

Sometimes people use their own computer directories when testing out webpages locally. However once they upload it, chances are that errors will occur.

Also, remove any "file:///" from the link source as well.

The only other thing i could think of is to make sure that everything is spelled right and to check your case sensitivity. links are CASE SENSITIVE and SPACE SENSITIVE.

Finally make sure that your pages are properly configured with the "CHMOD" feature of your FTP Client.

Hope this helped, good luck! :cheeky:

Actually, if it's the same folder I believe you use './'? (not so sure)

Both work. Might depend on the server. Who knows.
