    Dear webdudes,
    situation as follows: I want the site to open with a home page "index.html" that is just a simple table and then go into the site that is in a frameset. there is a button to go back to the home from the frameset. when clicking on it I want to go back to just the simple table, but it keeps opening in the frame it is in. so how can I make a link from a frame that leaves the frameset and replaces it with a different page?

    <TD COLSPAN=3 WIDTH=170 HEIGHT=102>

    <!-- here is problematic link --><a href="index.html"><img src="../images/logosmall.jpg" width="170" height="102" border="0"></a></TD>

    Try this...

    Hello!

    You can try adding target="_parent" in your <a> tag, like this:

    HTML Code:
    <a href="index.html" target="_parent"><!-- insert your image here --></a>

    Let me know if that worked.

    You're welcome. Glad to help.
    Uhm, What "code in the window" are you referring to in your reply? You mean inside that "HTML Code:" ?? You didnt see what was typed there?? Really? Then I guess you should inform the webmaster for this site.

    It was just this anyways:
    <a href="index.html" target="_parent"><!-- insert your image here --></a>
