    The rollover works fine, but the link does NOT work in IE 5.01 (IE5.5 works fine, as do all current browsers). If I remove the class from the paragraph, then it works. Can I make it do both - rollover and link?

    <p class="rollover"><a href="gmprog.shtml">
    <img src="../picts/btn-gmprog-ro.gif" width="201" height="30" border="0"> </a></p>

    Internal Style Sheet:
    .rollover a { display:block; width: 200px; height: 30px;}
    .rollover a:hover {background-color: #CECEDA; }

    Here's the referenced page in case I've left something important out of my explanation. It's the button in the middle of the page.

    HTML Code:
    <a class="rollover" href="gmprog.shtml">
    <img src="../picts/btn-gmprog-ro.gif" width="201" height="30" border="0"> </a>
    Try the code above, to see if that makes any difference - though to be honest I wouldn't worry about making the site work in 5.01 - It is likely to be a very limited percentage of your visitors?

    It's not so much about fixing it, as it is knowing what the solutions are (for those of us just learning). Actually the fix turned out to be removing the first line of the style sheet above. Thanks, though, I'll look at your suggestion when I get a minute.
