    In XHTML, to end a form input, you use a / . In your code you use </input>

    So an example form element would be
    Code:
    <input type=text name="realname" />
    Update your code to match that and then try validating.

    all attribute values must be surrounded by quotes.

    <input type=hidden name="required" value="field_1_value">
    <input type="hidden" name="required" value="field_1_value">

    <td><input type=text name="realname" />
    <td><input type="text" name="realname" />

    Yeah it does seem to be because you haven't surrounded it with double quotes as XHTML requires all tags to be quoted properly.

    Change the type=hidden to type="hidden" and it should validate

    adding the quots around the attributes will allow it to validate but i would suggest useing css or another way to align content other then tables...
