    hey
    i can write simple XML but got asked the otehr day

    how can u make XML more readable to the end user????

    would it just be by using CSS??

    End users don't read XML. Other code parses it and makes it readable (e.g. PHP, ASP).

    so using other formats such as PHP will show the XML in amore readable view

    Yes, but actually you guessed quite correctly when you said CSS. CSS and XSLT are the two stylesheet languages that work to display XML in a way that makes sense to the user. You can pass XML+XSLT through a parser that will generate HTML pages, though I'm not sure if the same is true of XML+CSS. Modern browsers can usually also apply stylesheets to XML and display them as specified. Firefox is an excellent example of such a browser. I believe IE also has this support, and possibly Opera, though I'm not 100% sure.
