    Does anyone know how I can make my visited links appear invisible? I am using a background, so just changing the colors won't do it? Also: How do I make the links change color when the mouse is hovering over them?

    Very thankful for anyone that could help me with this.

    You need to use certain CSS. Read this thread

    You're using a background image, or a flat background color? Can we see an example of the page?

    Both of these are possible via CSS, specifically pseudoclasses.

    The best way to go about this is, first of all, linking in an external stylesheet in the head section of your HTML file:
    Code:
    <link href="style.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" />
    Then, create the file style.css. Inside, it put:
    Code:
    a:visited
    {
        display: none;
    }

    a:hover
    {
        color: rgb(###,###,###);
    }
    Replace ###s in the second part with the color you want (Red, Green, Blue, range is 0-255). Or, you can replace the rgb(*) stuff with a regular hexadecimal #xxxxxx value, or you can use some predefined value like `red' or `yellow'.

    That's the long and the short of it.
