I'm planning to make a site that has a similiar setup as the one of http://www.zeldman.com.

Flowing background right down to the bottom, and two columns - the main content area and the sidebar...

Now what I don't understand but I would like to acheive is that both Main Content Area and Sidebar have the same height at all times (dispite the length of the content added) and both columns have a different color...

Anyways... Thanks for any help in advance.

    Matt

The fact that the two columns have the same height is faked since the sidebar has nowhere near the same amount of content as the main area. Check out this article by Dan Cederholm on 'faking' CSS columns, http://www.alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns/. I think this will help you achieve what you're looking for.
