    Well, thumbnail pages are generally quite a bit of work, since you have to thumbnail all the images, create all the links, etc, etc. And I'm not really sure what you're looking for when you ask for `good HTML'... Elaborate?

    i could resize each picture and put it together with pagebuilder (which is what im using) but i'm not sure what size to make each picture and if they should all match in height or width or neither. the images are not all the same size so they will look different as thumbnails and i don't know how to put it all together with the sizes and the captions that are a little bit lengthy. i think it might look cheesy if i link to the picture and put a longer caption right beneath the fullsize picture on a blank/white page. not all the pictures will fit inside the template when they're full size so i have to post them on a blank page.

    Well, there are certain programs that can create image galleries for you; undoubtedly adobe photoshop album is one. More importantly, there are things to create dynamic galleries for you; however, these are written in server-side languages like PHP. Really, there are a whoole lot of choices in this field. Google it :-)

    instead of making the thumbnails a full view of a minimized version, you're better off just putting a clip of the photo into a fixed-size display box. here's an example of what i mean:

    that way the page looks cleaner, in my opinion.

    If you are prepared to install some server side code gd is very popular, as is imagemagick...

    GD -> http://www.boutell.com/gd/
    Imagemagick -> http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php

    Best Wishes,

    Sean
