I know how to make a submit button, but how do I E-mail the information entered to myself when it's clicked?

It's confusing me, I can't find it on any website's source code either, so I have no idea how the work.

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks!

Through HTML alone? That requires the users email program (outlook, thunderbird) to be present. Also, that involves opening that application.

    This method kinda sucks.

Do you have any server side language support?

    If not, the old way:

    PHP Code:
    <a href="mailto:you@you.com?subject=Hi">email me</a

That's because email forms are done via a scripting language such as ASP.NET JSP and PHP. I'd search for those if I were you.

    Submit Buttons

Umm.. Well.. How do people that run websites usually get information from a form??

The information is a Name and an E-mail address so that they can be added to my Mailing List.

How can i get that information when the user pressed the "Submit" Button?? What do i need to do? It doesn't have to be HTML..

    Thanks!

If you do a search for mail form in the Tutorials forum, you should find what you're looking for, I think.
