    I couldn't even get the page to load.

    Are you pulling content from another site on the page? That can cause it to hang like this.

    The page loads slowly (4MB DSL line), but it eventually loads without errors for me as well.

    If it's loading that slow then there's got to be an error on there somewhere. The site host won't be too happy when a page that takes that long to load, and neither will the site visitors.

    I tried running this site through http://validator.w3.org but it didn't like it. Said the file didn't match the encoding because the file contained one or more bytes that it could not interpret.

    Is it posssible your text file has got corrupted on the disk?

    You should really add a doctype and meta encoding statements to your pages, makes checking them much easier and help browsers sort out errors they come across.

    I didn't get any errors in IE6.

    But it does take sometime to load, probably due to the preload images script.

    Your body tag is some kind of messed up:
    HTML Code:
    <body http://www.tourism-internetmarketing.com/images/tourisminternetmarketing-ma.gif','http://www.tourism-internetmarketing.com/images/t-imcom.gif','http://www.tourism-internetmarketing.com/images/imbanner/banner1.gif','http://www.tourism-internetmarketing.com/images/imbanner/logo_ad2%20copy.gif',')"text="#000000" vlink="#800000" link="#800000" bgcolor="#ffffff" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" alink="#FF0000">
    Fix that, and see what happens. It may be that the web browser is trying to parse it, and that why it takes so long to load - and the source of your error. I'm still looking through the code though.
