In IE only, my table holding my navigation links has a weird overhang... I specified the table to be 24 pixels high, both using HTML and CSS. I don't understand why the height is above 24 pixels. This problem only occurs in IE and not in Firefox. I'm attaching the HTML and file and the CSS file to this post.

The website where you can view this is here:

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Take the spaces out from both sides of your image tags.

Tables don't have a height atribute. You can try telling them to be 24px high but they will continue to be the height of the contents they contain. So the correct question is why is the table's contents bigger than you expected. Try changing the font size inside the table to a smaller size so that the text fits.

    thank you

Thanks a lot. Taking the spaces next to the images out worked, though I'm not sure why. Thanks again.
