    <rant>OMFG IE is making my anti-microsoft camp-fire turn into a forest-fire!!! ARG!!</rant>

    Anyhoo...

I have a website @ http://24.147.156.197/team241_hitech/ (I know I have no domain name, don't be predudice against the poor). When you view it in Firefox it looks perfect, except for a small fluke with the bottom curve but thats another issue for another thread. When you open it in IE6 everything falls apart, if you are faint of heart I would avoid looking because the site becomes screwed royally. I believe what happens is that IE6 dosent support the position:absolute OR it will not override a float:left when you specify and absolute position.

Take a look at this: http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edg...ious/demo.html

I haven't taken an indepth look at your code, but why do you even need to use absolute positioning? Float the left bar to the left of the content and then float your bmp's inside the content div. That probably will fix your problems.

curvalious is where i got this idea. Ill try floating it within a div. I didnt even think that you could float an element in anything besides the window itself. Thanks man.

You can float any block elements inside any other element. Let us know how it works out

    Meh..

Nope that still dosent work actually it dosent effect the way IE renders it at all... Well except one thing that IE & FF did but Opera didnt, they added a little 10px margin that pushes the curve off of the edge ='(. It seems IE just dosent like my site. Owell, its unfortunate though because my robotics team could win a grant for our robot, but I'm sure they use IE...

Could someone write up a small script (PHP/Javascript) that redirects you to an alternate site if you are using IE? (maybe with a 10 sec delay to inform them that their browser sucks?)
