    I have it set as this:

    <style>

    a:link, a:visited, a:active { text-decoration: none; }

    a:hover { text-decoration: gray; color: gray; }

    </style>

    At first it's blue, when the mouse hovers over it it is gray. But when they click on the link, it turns an ugly shade of purple. Is it possible to make it stay blue?

    re:

    I have modified your style tags for you.

    Code:
    <STYLE type="text/css">

    a:link { text-decoration: none; font-size: 10px;
    font-family: Verdana; color:#999999; font-weight:BOLD;}

    a:visited { text-decoration: none; font-size: 10px;
    font-family: Verdana; color:#999999; font-weight:BOLD;}

    a:hover { text-decoration: none; font-size: 10px;
    font-family: Verdana; color:#BF3EFF; font-weight:BOLD;}

     </style>
    #999999=Gray
    #000033=Navy
    To get the color that you want, use the hex code instead of just 'blue' or 'green'. You can find a color chart here:
    www.eofficeprofessionals.com/tutorials-colors.asp

    For normal (not bold) font, change 'BOLD' to 'NORMAL' (Not case sensitive)

    No matter what colors or attributes you change, make sure that the code appears in the following order: a:link, a:visited, a:hover.

    Good luck.
