I am trying to put together a design that was given to me by one of my clients. In Firefox, things look and act as they should, but in IE, one of the table rows stretches too much. I am at a loss on how to correct this, as I have already set the cell height to 26 (what it should be).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks,

Tables do not have height atributes. Some browser will render a height atribute but it will be done as a "minimum height" not fixed height. The height of a table or table cell is the height of the contents of that cell. It is not the table cell that is expanded. It's the contents of the table cell.

I couldn't see the error you were asking about. But you should be aware that there were other errors in the layout. Your left menu was not in a consistant position on different browsers and there is an odd red object on the right.

You should run your site through http://validator.w3.org and fix the bugs indicated.
