    http://www.ardia.org/greensoda/testsite.htm

is there any way (with css) to make the green arrow (you will see it once hovering over on the sidebar menu) remain as shown after clicking/transfering to next page of information. meaning if i hover over and click on 'crew', the next uploaded page will have crew information (in the content area) with green arrow shown on sidebar without hovering to let you know that you are on that page of crew.

let me know if i am not clear.
    thanks-ardia.

Well the 4 selectors for <a href> elements are link, visited, hover, active.

Active does not mean which page is being viewed, it means when you click a link.

Someone else may know a CSS way, but you could use a client side solution or a server side to achieve this.

Do you have server side support, if so what language(s)?

You'll need PHP, ASP, Perl or JS (maybe ... dunno enough about JS) to do this.
