    I am using dreamweaver to create layers for a content box. I have a few questions, how do I make the layer a FIXED size so that ti does nto adjust tot he amount of content. Add a table indside? Also, how do I make it so the layer will not reposition when the borswer is resized? thanks!

    Hey,

    Firstly you could try the absolute code although I don't reccoment this

    E.g

    <div id=layer1 style="position:absolute; top:20; left:20; width:enterpixels; height:enterpixels; z-index:enterzindex; padding:enterpaddingpx; border: #000000 border background-color:#bgcolour; background-image:url(yourfilename.gif); layer-background-image:url(yourfilename.gif);">
    And also why are you using Dreamweaver to code your layers? I find it so much easier in Notepad but I guess we all have our differences.

    - Dan
