I want to use this image (http://chrysalismusic.net/images/bannerboarder.jpg) as the center piece for a website I'm working on. I want the area where it currently says "Album out March 5th," to be where all the infomation pops up after you click on the buttons.
I understand that in order to do this I have to slice the image up. But after I slice the image I can't put it back together seemlessly. It currently looks like this: http://www.chrysalismusic.net/angelmainnew.html
How I can put the image back together and still be able to have the area where it currently says "Album out March 5th" to be it's own frame? I'm trying to get the website to look like this: http://chrysalismusic.net/angelmain1.html
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Any help would be appreciated.

    OK...
Try this. (See attached html files; save them both to your website root).

(Any of the "buttons" you want to open a new page inside where it says "coming out..." should have a target="insideFrame" attribute.)

"ewww, unsightly scrollbars!" OK, so crop the middle_center image a bit and you should be fine.
