    I created my page with tables and using CSS scripts for the background images. Now I am trying to add text over the background images and apply a CSS script to the text. When I do this, the bacground image turns white or goes blank. The whole image dissapears. I checked to make sure the script codes for a clear background for the text and the image is labeled as a "background" in the script as well.
    Is it possible to add text in a CSS over a CSS background?

    Could you possibly copy and paste in this forum the code you're using so we can take a look at it to see what you're code is doing?

    Here is the code before I add the style to the text.

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <link href="CSS.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /></head>

    <body>
    <div align="center">
    <table width="800" height="775" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
    <tr>
    <th height="121" colspan="4" class="Header" scope="col">&nbsp;</th>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <th width="202" rowspan="2" class="Leftside" scope="row">&nbsp;</th>
    <td width="547" height="405" colspan="3" class="Right">We allow you to identify professions </td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td height="152" colspan="3" class="midright">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <th height="83" colspan="4" class="Footer" scope="row">&nbsp;</th>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>

    Here is the code with the style added to the text.

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <link href="CSS.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /></head>

    <body>
    <div align="center">
    <table width="800" height="775" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
    <tr>
    <th height="121" colspan="4" class="Header" scope="col">&nbsp;</th>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <th width="202" rowspan="2" class="Leftside" scope="row">&nbsp;</th>
    <td width="547" height="405" colspan="3" class="RedFnt">We allow you to identify professions </td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td height="152" colspan="3" class="midright">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <th height="83" colspan="4" class="Footer" scope="row">&nbsp;</th>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>

    The page isn't published, so I don't have a link to it. I am just haveing issues lining up the text perfectly over the background image. I am begining to think that it cannot be done. I have tried it in layer and tables. I have tried putting the table in a div, but when I adjust the left and top alignment, nothing changes.
