    OK so having a few problems getting my site to work with both IE and Mozilla.

    1st of is the scroll bar. i used the following code:

    BODY {
    scrollbar-face-color:#666666;
    scrollbar-highlight-color:#000000;
    scrollbar-3dlight-color:#000000;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#000000;
    scrollbar-shadow-color:#000000;
    scrollbar-arrow-color:#CCCCCC;
    scrollbar-track-color:#999999;
    background-image: url(images/images_23.gif);
    which works fine for IE but for mozilla it jsut uses the normal scroll bar. any ideas what code i can use so it works for both?

    secondly i used iframes on the site and seperate html files for each page.
    I haven't set a background in these html pages so in the iframe it just shows the background which in mozilla is fine:

    but in IE it shows up white?:

    any ideas how to fix this?

    thanks

    J

    Scrollbars are an IE only feature, no matter what code you try firefox will stick to the default scrollbars.

    You need to add the following to the <iframe> tag:
    Code:
    ALLOWTRANSPARENCY="true"
    and add this to the <body> tag of the html page displayed in the iframe
    Code:
    STYLE="background-color:transparent"

    That's not supported in Mozilla web browsers.

    Yeah, his problem was getting IE to not show the white background. So it is not a FF solution he was after.
