    I have spent some time now trying to get a table mouse over effect to work. I cant get :Hover to fuction.below image links are my intented goal.

    Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, the :hover pseudo-class only work in FF (and maybe Opera... I'm not sure) IE only "likes" the a:hover ... So ... unless you want the cells to be "clickable" you can't.

    I guess the other alternative would be to use Javascript (but remember that JS can be turned off, so JS should only "enhance" the viewing of the site )

    the effect would have no fuctional value on the site, but would have been a nice bit of flare :S
