    This looks perfect in IE but for some reason i cannot figure out how to get it the same in FF. Here is the code:
    HTML Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
       "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
    <head>
    <title>Designers Paradise</title>
    <style type="text/css">

    /*Basic Page Setup*/
    html{margin-top:0px; padding-top:0px;}
    body{background:#111; margin-top:0px; padding-top:0px;}

    /*fonts*/
    p,font,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5{font-family:tahoma; font-size:11px; color:#111; text-decoration:none;}
    div#orangetext p{color:#ff8a00;}
    div#greytext p{color:#cccccc;}

    /*links*/
    a{text-decoration:none; color:#c9c9c9; size:11px;}
    a:link{text-decoration:none; color:#c9c9c9; size:11px;}
    a:visited, a:active{text-decoration:none; color:#c9c9c9; size:11px;}
    a:hover{text-decoration:none; color:#333; size:11px;}

    /*Containers*/
    .maincontainer{width:700px; background:#fff; height:100%;}
    .topbar{height:20px; background:#ccc; text-align:right; border-bottom: thin solid #eee;}
    .banner{background: url(images/banner.jpg); background-color:#e3a123; padding-top:80px; padding-right:10px; text-align:right;}
    .menubar{height:20px; background-color:#ccc; text-align:left; border-top: thin solid #eee; border-bottom: thin solid #eee;}
    .bodycontainer{padding:5px; background:#fff;}
    .subcontent{width:200px; background:#eee; height:600px; margin-right:5px; text-align:left; float:left;}
    .maincontent{width:485px; background:#eee; height:600px; text-align:right; float:right; text-align:left;}
    .footer{width:100%; background: url(images/gradient.jpg); background-repeat: repeat-x; background-color:#e3a123; text-align:center;}
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <center>
        <div class="maincontainer">
            <div class="topbar">

            </div>
            <div class="banner">

            </div>
            <div class="menubar">

            </div>
            <div class="bodycontainer">
                <div class="subcontent">

                </div>
                <div class="maincontent">

                </div>
            </div>
            <div class="footer">
            </div>
        </div>
    </center>
    </body>
    </html>
    The background of the content area isn't white, its #111 for somereason and the footer isnt showing up, it works in IE but not in FF.

    html
    Code:
    <div class="bodycontainer">
                <div class="subcontent">

                </div>
                <div class="maincontent">

                </div>
                <br style="clear: both;" />    <--------------------------- ADD THIS!
            </div>
    As for the center thing

    Code:
    .maincontainer{width:700px; background:#fff; height:100%; margin: 0 auto; <------------- ADDED margin: 0 auto; TO CENTER }

    And for the footer, you need to add a height: XXpx; to you .footer
