a client of mine wants a catchy special offers tab to draw the attention of the reader, the have asked for flashin text which isn't a problem to do, but is pretty bad taste

anyway wondering if any designers would have an i dea on how to catch the readers attention without using flashing text???

How about a tab that says "members only", or "do not enter"?

People can't resist looking at something they're not supposed to.

I put a "commented-out" form within my HTML that can only be
viewed by looking at the HTML source. Within that form, I have a
hidden password and script, along with some other fake variables.

People are accessing that script all the time with the hidden password ...
meaning that they are viewing the HTML source and hoping to enter
something where they are not allowed. I guess you would call it a
"honey pot". It's fun to see how many are looking at my HTML source.
